Gan-ya Ben-gur Akselrod

Gan-ya has performed with leading opera companies such as the Staatsoper Stuttgart, the Komische Oper Berlin, the Théâtre du Capitole, Toulouse, the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the New Israeli Opera, Tel Aviv, the Teatro Real, Madrid, and many more. She has also won numerous awards in Austria, the US, Israel and Turkey, and is a sought-after interpreter of contemporary music and film music. She holds a Master’s degree in opera from the City University of New York, a Bachelor’s degree in music performance from Tel-Aviv University and is a professor of contemporary vocal music at Graz University.
