Dave Marks’ musical journey began playing electric guitar and bass guitar in a number of local bands, before moving to London to study the guitar. He later expanded his musical repertoire to include drums, percussion, keys, banjo and Irish whistle. He has worked with guitar legend Albert Lee, drum legend Carl Palmer and fellow graduate Justin Sandercoe, as well as bands such as Wishbone Ash and Hurts – and for Hans Zimmer on the Hans Zimmer Live tour. Dave worked with a huge variety of artists, jumping between the disciplines of songwriter, support playing, jazz improvisation, rock bands and scored music. All of these experiences have led to him becoming one of the UK’s top bass players and a versatile musician with a wide-ranging skillset.
